三、申请人资格
1．非中国籍公民，身心健康；
2.申请者无享受中国各级政府和录取院校设立的其他奖学金（不含各类一次性奖励）的资助；
3．申请攻读硕士学位者，须具有学士学位，学习成绩优秀，年龄不超过35周岁；
4．申请攻读博士学位者，须具有硕士学位，学习成绩优秀，年龄不超过40周岁；
5．语言要求：
中文授课研究生项目申请者，中文水平至少达到汉语水平考试（HSK）四级才可以申请。申请者汉语水平达到HSK五级（含）以上，可以申请直接进入专业学习。未达到HSK五级的申请者，可以申请先汉语补习一年，达到要求后，方可进入专业学习；
6.英文授课项目申请者，需提供英语水平证明，托福（TOEFL）需达到80分，雅思（IELTS）需达到5.5分。不能提供标准化英语测试证明的，上一阶段学位学习使用英语教学的申请者，需提供相关证明，并需进行英语笔试或面试。母语为英语的申请者，可以免除提供上述英语水平证明。

五、申请流程
第一步：登录“国家留学基金委来华留学网上报名系统”（http://www.csc.edu.cn/laihua或http://www.campuschina.org），点击“网上报名学生入口”图标进入）填写申请信息，华南农业大学招生机构代码为：10564，“高校研究生”中国政府奖学金项目类别为B；网上提交各项“申请材料”；完成网上申请后，系统自动生成并可打印《中国政府奖学金申请表》。
第二步：登录“华南农业大学国际教育学院来华留学生网上报名系统”（https://scau.17gz.org/），点击网上报名入口，填写申请信息，经费来源选择中国政府奖学金；网上提交各项“申请材料”； 完成网上申请后，系统自动生成并可打印《华南农业大学来华留学生申请表》。或将申请材料发邮件至“admissions@scau.edu.cn，注明“高校研究生项目”。
六、申请材料
1．《中国政府奖学金申请表》（在线填写），用中文或英文填写；
2．《华南农业大学来华留学生申请表》（可从以下网站下载http://202.116.160.8/_s128/2021/0118/c12487a266870/page.psp），用中文或英文填写；
3．护照首页。申请人须提交有效期晚于2023年3月1日本人普通护照的首页清晰扫描件;
4．经公证的最高学历学位证书和成绩单。如申请人为在校学生，需提供本人就读学校出具的预毕业学士学位或硕士学位证明及成绩单,预毕业证明中须说明预期获得的学位和毕业时间，同时需提供一份在校表现证明。中英文以外文本还需附经公证过的中文或英文的译文；
5．语言能力证明。申请以中文为专业教学语言的申请人须提供有效期内HSK四级及以上成绩报告。申请以英文为专业教学语言的申请人须提供英语托福（TOEFL）或者雅思（IELTS）成绩单;
6．来华学习或研究计划（不少于800字），用中文或英文书写；
7．两名教授或副教授的推荐信，用中文或英文书写；
8．《外国人体格检查表》的复印件，原件请于来华时随身携带。此表格由中国卫生检疫部门统一印制，须用英文或中文填写。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查表》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查表》无效。检查结果有效期为6个月；
9．《华南农业大学导师同意接收函》（可从以下网站下载http://202.116.160.8/_s128/zxsqjlc/list.psp），用中文或英文书写。此材料为非必须申请材料，将作为中国政府奖学金优先选拔的文件之一;
10．无犯罪记录证明，用中文或英文书写。申请人须提交由所在地公安机关出具的有效期内的无犯罪记录证明，通常应为提交申请之日前6个月以内的证明文件。

Application for Chinese Government Scholarship---Chinese University Program of South China Agricultural University of year 2022
The Chinese Government Scholarship-Chinese University Program is a scholarship established by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China to support some Chinese colleges and universities to directly recommend talented international students to study in China. South China Agricultural University is one of the prestigious universities designated to undertake this program to recruit graduate students to study for Master and Doctoral degree.
I. Supporting Categories, Duration, Instruction Language and Majors
1.The scholarship supports master’s and doctoral students.
2.Duration of the scholarship, which covers both major study and Chinese language study, lasts 1 year for language courses study, whereas 2-3 years for master study, and 3-4 years for doctoral study.

Ⅲ. Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must:
1.be a citizen of non-Chinese nationality and in good health both mentally and physically;
2.be not allowed to enjoy other scholarships (excluding one-off awards) set up by Chinese governments and admitted institutions at the same time;
3. be an academically excellent holder of a Bachelor’s degree under the age of 35 when applying for a Master’s program;
4. be an academically excellent holder of a Master’s degree under the age of 40 when applying for a doctoral program;
5. have passed the HSK (Level 4) when applying for a Chinese-taught postgraduate program. Applicants who have passed HSK ( Level 5) or above can apply for major study directly, and those who have passed the HSK (Level 4) can apply to take Chinese language courses for one year first, then move on to the major study after meeting the requirement;
6. provide a report of English Language Test when applying for English-taught program (TOEFL 80+/IELTS 5.5+). Those who cannot offer the above-mentioned standard English test result can provide a proof of their previous studying at an institution where the teaching language is English, and will be required to take additional oral or written English test organized by South China Agricultural University. Native English-speaking applicants could be exempted from providing the above English proficiency certificate.

1. Firstly, register and submit your online application at Chinese Government Scholarship Information System at http://www.campuschina.org/. The code of South China Agricultural University is 10564. Please Choose Program category-- type B which refers to scholarship programs responsible by Chinese universities under Chinese Government Scholarship. After completing the online application, please download and print a hard copy of the “Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship”.
2. Next, register and submit your online application at South China Agricultural University Online Application System for International Students at https://scau.17gz.org/. Please choose sources of funds -- Chinese Government Program. After completing the online application, please download and print a hard copy of the “Application Form for International Students of South China Agricultural University ”. Or send your application form to admissions@scau.edu.cn. Please remark your emails name of “Chinese Government Program”.
Ⅵ. Application Documents
1. Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (filled in Chinese or English online);
2. Application Form for International Students of South China Agricultural University (can be download from http://202.116.160.8/_s128/2021/0118/c12487a266870/page.psp,filled in Chinese or English online);
3. A scanned copy of the Ordinary Passport information page. An applicant shall submit a clear scanned copy of the information page of his/her passport that will not expire on or before March 1, 2023. Renew the passport if the requirement is not met;
4. Notarized highest diploma(degree certificate) and transcripts（the original notarized copies issued directly by your school/university or public notary office with an official stamp）. Prospective diploma recipients should submit an official pre-graduation certificate, transcript and on-school performance certificate issued by your current school. The pre-graduation certificate should prove not only your current student status, but also the expected degree certificate and graduation date. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations;
5. A copy of valid HSK certificate is required if applying for Chinese-taught program. A copy of valid English level certificate for English-taught program (e. g TOEFL or IELTS);
6. A study or research proposal written in Chinese or in English (no less than 800 words);
7. Two recommendation letters in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors;
8. A photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form (The original document, printed by Chinese quarantine authorities, shall be filled in English or Chinese and kept by the applicant.) The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are invalid. Medical examination results are valid for only six months;
9. An acceptance letter from the professor of South China Agricultural University(can be downloaded from http://202.116.160.8/_s128/zxsqjlc/list.psp, filled in Chinese or English),which is not mandatory, but will serve as a priority of preliminary evaluation in granting the Chinese Government Scholarship;
10. A valid Certificate of Non-Criminal Record in English or Chinese. The applicant shall submit a valid certificate of Non-Criminal Record (or Police Clearance Certificate) issued by the local public security authority (such as the police station), usually issued within 6 months prior to the submission date of the application.
